I have been involved with basketball at some level for 32 years. It was my first love and my getaway! I was born and raised in Indiana where I played Varsity 4 years in high school. Recieved a scholarship and played 1 year at Kankakee Community College. Suffered a broken leg my freshman year and that ended my playing career. I started coaching at 19 years young and my passion is teaching girls of all ages and backgrounds the fundamentals to be successful on the court.
16 years of coaching includes...12 years of middle school4 years of high school2 years of building and growing Triple Threat into one of the largest girls feeder programs in N. Florida.
I make sure my players know the value of being great teammates and leaders. I push them because I believe in them. I believe and teach that basketball is more than wins and losses...it gives you opportunities to learn team work, build leadership skills, the opportunity to set and meet goals, and traits of being coachable. These things will follow these young ladies through life when the game is over!! We are a family at Triple Threat and it is important that we stress team building and community outreach.
I take an active roll in development along side the great coaches this academy offers.
I live in St John's county with 2 daughters and work full time in sales. I enjoy watching my daughters play softball and cheer. I enjoy travelling and riding mountain bikes in my spare time.
